Here is an interview with me, but it was for a Poetry/Writing Journal that might be out of business at the moment.

I think you are giving the unnamed artist a little too much credit by saying he has no self-esteem. Art is "work", just like any other job. The less experienced an artist is, the more work it is to accomplish the same goal. Low self-esteem or not, he doesn't want to do your project if he's choosing to spend time on recreation or doing someone else's project. Actions always speak louder than words.

I've always felt that a group of like minded individuals teaming together to form a peer community can accomplish more than one creator on their own.

Thanks for reading it, one. Two, I think the artist is dealing with self esteem but, you are correct in that if they are a professional they need to do the work.

I appreciate your taking the time to read the interview and I heard from the interviewer and he has sent me the rest of the q/a for posting, so I'll be doing that soon.

Mixed feelings. I'm not one who screams out for poetry. Normally, it's out of sight and out of mind. On the other hand, Bono from U2 seems to describe himself as a poet when he writes lyrics. Maybe song lyrics are the ultimate calling for a poet? I like to take song lyrics and change them until they are demented. I had a co-worker challenge me to include the word "Gyne-Lotrimin" in one of my songs. It was tough, but I accomplished the task and then subsequently forgot the lyrics I'd created. One day I'll finish the entire song for "Rudolph the Brown-nose Reindeer".

So you are an INFJ? I am an INTJ. I tend to mimic other personality types when I find them more effective at getting a task accomplished. Most people laugh when I say I'm an introvert. That "F" explains why you chose a creative path. I only choose creative paths out of boredom, frustration, or anger. My guess is that you are more concerned with your feelings over what is right and wrong and I'm more interested in designing and analyzing the structure which makes things right or wrong. My personality dissects the sacred cow to find out why it was deemed sacred. My unemotional response to things horrifies people. You joined the board because of the "N" and the "J". At least that'd be my guess. The "I" makes it easier to stick around.

Although I'm unable to see the love of my life now, I initially suspected that she was an INFJ. We had a great deal in common and she seemed to be more emotional than me. Ultimately, I coaxed her into taking the test and discovered she was an INTJ also. In some ways we clashed, but in other ways it made her even more beautiful to me. We were both naturally inept at relationships, so discovering her personality type explained it all. When she put out the wrong vibe, I ultimately found that to be delightful and a joy to witness. I know I do the same and don't really care that people take it the wrong way. The "T" in my personality makes me feel that people need to get smarter and that I should not have to pander to their insecurities. Anyone who really knows me does get smarter or they were already smart.

It's interesting that you associate your poetry with prophecy. The "N" or intuitive characteristic in people is interesting. I recall an instance where my dad crossed some railroad tracks and was to stop at a red light. He was flustered and ran the red light in front of a policeman. The siren and blue lights came on. My dad was pulled over. I sat there just thinking. He was upset (rare for him) and said "I guess I'll get a ticket." I pondered it some more and said "You aren't getting a ticket." I can't explain why, but my inner essence just knew that to be true. He scoffed and said something to the effect that he'd be extremely lucky if he only got a warning from the officer. My confidence was even greater. I reassured him that he was not getting a ticket despite the fact it defied every logical reasoning. I stayed silent as he showed the officer his license and explained his error. The policeman told him to be more careful and walked away without issuing a citation. As we drove off, I told him that I'd never been more confident in my life about something. There are patterns that happen in the world. If you watch the patterns you don't have to see the number "1" progress to "2" and "2" progress to "3". You can feel the pattern and see in your mind that it will eventually progress to "5" or even "10". This is essentially prophecy. I've read about prophets and discovered that like prophets, I am out of sync with the world around me. Most people live and think by what is happening now. My mind is in the future. Where is the current pattern taking me and the world around me? That is a thousand times more important to me than anything happening right now. While others around me are celebrating at a party, my mind is on who will drink too much and try to drive home drunk. The consequence of what can or might happen is far greater than the moment at hand. Only when the pattern pleases me will I be pleased. By the same token, I see miracles before they happen. While others are sad or depressed or dealing with the current situation, I'm analyzing the pattern and seeing the good that will or can result. This is why I say prophets are always out of sync with the world around them.

I believe you chose to join the board because you saw that the pattern of probabilities was defied when I replied to your posts on the other board. Good or bad, I think both of us knew how the normal person would respond and I didn't do that.

Your post was an interesting read. As I stated before, I do not gravitate towards poetry. Perhaps it is my disinterest in dwelling on feelings that steers me away. The "T" in my personality has learned to be fascinated with the function of the "F", or the "feelings" that others express. Normally, the process of shutting them down makes me think more efficiently. The girl I love being an INTJ forced me to shut them down because I communicated better with her when I did. I enjoyed my time with her more when I didn't. Despite that, I've wrapped my mind around the concept that feelings are warning signs. They are a tool, just as any other piece of knowledge is a tool. I find them to have great potential value if harnessed and used correctly.

As far as the 4 types of poets, I am the fucker. They shameless, unapologetic fucker. In the words of Andrew Dice Clay, "Jack be nimble, Jack be quick. Jack burnt off his fucking dick." If only I'd actually asserted myself to meet the Southpark producer someone wanted me to meet. I'd be horrifying millions.

I am most definitely an INFJ. I've taken the test and each time got the same results. It is rare result, but, I am who I am. What I saw in you, and your honesty and the nature of this board, being truly troll free, is why I came here and began posting. I like that even if you disagree, you do so with honor.

My occupation is that of a quality inspector, so it is my obligation to look at the intended state, evaluate the current state and throw up as red flag where I see a discrepancy. I piss off a lot of people over seemingly minor issues. I'm paid well to find problems. When I offer my services for free online, people are offended.
