This is uncharted territory for the most part. There is no definitive resource on how many variants exist.

I mostly added a few Black Fury scans. Added a couple of Freddy scans. Still haven't decided how I want to do the gallery pages. These are a mess. I have a lot of scans to process, so I may split off and do something else before I get all the scans I have posted.

pm | | Re: Blue Bird Comics (20th Apr 16 at 9:31pm UTC) | | Added some scans and some issue numbers to the Blue Bird Comics checklist. It's at version 0.5. I still consider it a beta version. I cannot confirm which brand variants existed so I'm listing all likely possibilities. Some brands like Schiff's or Big Shoe variants are more common. Some are very not very common at all like E.D. Edwards or Federal. I'm not entirely sure if Masked Raider went as high as #15 or #16 nor am I entirely sure that Wild Bill Hickok had a #1. Mysteries of Unexplored Worlds has a #18 with the shoe brands combined, but no earlier issue number seem to exist. It's possible that the titles shifted names while keeping the same numbering. I do know Lil' Genius went to issue #16. As I narrow down what exactly exists, I'll update the list and correct the numbering as necessary. For now, this is a template for populating the list with scans. The scans are typically low quality when i find them online. I'm willing to compromise the quality of the scans for this checklist just to get it populated. As I populate each title and brand, the quality of the scans can be reviewed side by side in the cover galleries.

There is no evidence online that #11-#14 exist so far, but some of these comics should have 8 variants each and only one scan has surfaced for specific issues. Atomic Mouse issues are particularly difficult to find online. I keep hoping a warehouse find is discovered with all the variants, but I'm not optimistic that will happen. I'm doing extensive reconstruction on a Six-Gun Heroes #15 (Big Shoes Variant). The worst part is done. I just need to complete some aesthetic adjustments to finish it.
In most cases, my scans for this imprint will mirror what is available through GCD. I have a few more, but not many.

pm | | Re: Blue Bird Comics (5th Sep 19 at 12:17am UTC) | | I'm getting very close to wrapping this up for awhile. They don't sell well, so many of the images on eBay are the same ones I saw 3 years ago. Not a lot of new copies are coming to market, so it's tough getting images I need.
I do believe my cover gallery to be the most complete online. GCD is close. I'm not even sure if some issues that I'm looking for exist.
