I remember the Beagle Boys in one. It was stinking awesome.

I don't have a problem with them being discussed here. They are similar.
One of the first pre-hero comics I got was a Beagle Boys comic. It was awesome too.
I've been at antique shops and I've often considered buying Golden Children's books.

I wish I could remember where I saw a huge collection of them. They were going for a huge price being in minty mint mint mint condition. But they had an online site for them, hell, maybe ebay, but a long time ago. I couldn't afford it but I wanted them to break up the set...

I was thinking of the ones that start kids reading. You are thinking of the Big Little Books. I have 2 from the 60's. One is Fantastic Four, the other is Flipper. I never liked the format of these. The format almost begs to be damaged.

That's what they were called in the 60's. Evidently the older ones were called "Better Little" books according to that eBay auction. I do remember them having another name. I'm surprised that there aren't more collectors of these and coloring books. Occasionally I'll see someone that collects puzzles. Another thing is Valentine cards. I have some unopened X-Men Valentine's day cards.
