It can't be as bad as the last 3. I look forward to this.

My problem with this is that it's an Iron Man movie and he's not in it a lot. It's better than 2 of the three Iron Man movies, but it's still an Iron Man movie. My other problem is that I'm tired of seeing heroes as a klutz. I don't go to a Spider-man movie to see him struggling with his own abilities. As a member of the audience, I should not have to endure yet another reboot of his struggles because they repeatedly "F" up the character over and over again. The entire ferry boat scene is horrible. It's idiotic.

That being said, Michael Keaton transcends any acting that I've seen him do before. He was excellent throughout. He was evil and calculating.

The Peter Parker's sidekick friend was annoying.

Overall, this movie was bad as in 1st Season Agents of SHIELD bad. It was filled with contrived name-dropping.
It's like someone stood over the writers and said "Mention Thor... You haven't mentioned Thor yet!" Then they interject "Wait... someone needs to say Black Widow." It's some really bad name dropping.

Sounds like the only reason to watch it is for Keaton. Yea, I can't stand watching the whole klutzy/figuring out my super powers moments in these movies. For a Spiderman 6 movie, it's been played to death already. That's another reason I couldn't sit through the last 2 Spiderman movies. It's just a chore to sit through to get to the good stuff. And even then, the payoff isn't worth the wait.

On a plus note... I kept looking at one actor and thinking he looked familiar. It was Gilfoyle. He played a teacher at the school. Smiley
