So now it's Christmas 2020 for the next James Cameron movie. Well after the new Star Wars movies out of the way for FOX.

2019 is the 10th Anniversary of Avatar so I bet they'll re-release that into theaters again to prep the sequel awareness.

It had better be good. How many stories does Cameron have to tell? The first two Terminator movies were pretty much the same plot.

The next one sounds water themed since he did those Mariana Trench expeditions to the bottom of the ocean floor for research. It took him ten years from Titanic to Avatar and now another decade for Avatar 2. I'm amazed they built an actual Avatar land at Disney faster than he made a movie sequel.

To me, his Terminator story paused with T2-3D the ride. He gets the Terminator rights back in 2019 so who knows if he had some ideas left brewing all this time. Terminator Genysis seemed to throw in every version of the terminator robot in there except the T-1,000,000.

Going forward, the special effects and CGI are going to struggle to impress anyone. It's going to take more than that to get people coming back. I like his movies, but I could see it losing momentum on the next ones.
