Why isn't there an image? {Rolleyes}

I don't have an answer obviously, but it is odd that nothing was posted.

I think T2 stands up also. I too remember the windshield, but only because he says so here.

Aliens was good in the theater and it was a really good role for Bill Paxton. He stood out even though I didn't know who he was at the time. I guess for 3D, it could be interesting.

Here's one "George Lucas" tweak change he did for T2:

The previous longer interview mostly talks about 3d. He's planning on Aliens in 3D next. That one i'll go see in theaters since I only saw it for the first time on VHS as a kid. The last act with the Alien Queen and eggs would be interesting to see in 3D. T2 I already saw on the big screen and a billion times on tv.

Pretty good. It was long and I was having problems finding time to watch it. I liked what he mentioned about not investing in a character just to have them go away at the end. Little principles like that are why I like his movies. Also, I thought it was funny that he says the interviewer is thinking about the time travel in Terminator to an unhealthy degree and then he started rambling about theoretical physics and how the scenario could exist.
I fell asleep after watching it, so those are the high points that I remember.

The stories I've heard are from people who knew him. I'm not sure he'd tell you or even know the things I've heard. He's not going to know what people think of his attitudes or actions necessarily. He'll know what he did. He's an interesting guy.
I'd probably get this signed.

I have something more recent, but I can't find the scan because I don't remember the title. A red cover.

Wow, Steranko sounds wacky! Maybe it's worth going just for the stories alone. lol... Smiley

I see he did this cover though:

Been so many years I don't remember my old one. I'll check again. I'm used to the pm messages via forums anyway and forget easy.

Yea, Byrne did the early issues. The comic adaptation is cool because it had some deleted scenes in there. I wonder who drew the cover to the Magazine sized collection from the Marvel Super Special of it:

I saw this magazine in Shooter's portfolio. If Jim Steranko drew it, I might try to get one autographed since he's coming to a show later this year. Smiley

btw, I got you something signed by Shooter while I was there. After I catch up on things i'll try to ship it to you. May need your address again. {Cool}

Your link has the answer... It's Howard Chaykin. He was one of my two guesses and he was probably one of two guesses because his name just didn't come to mind first.
I've heard so many disturbing stories about Steranko. I've had many opportunities to meet him but opted not to every time. Perhaps the most disturbing story is the time he almost shot someone because he didn't know a prank was being played out at another creator's birthday celebration. A friend of mine held a party that Steranko attended. I didn't even ask if I could attend. Damn! Now I'm in debt! LOL!

Is your profile email address still valid? I lost about a 3rd of my email addresses last month. The free service converted to a pay service. I should care, but I don't.

Cameron is working with a company that provides 3D video without the use of glasses. That is probably delaying everything.

Yea, I better hurry fast on this one. It's a shame it didn't catch on more in the U.S.. Maybe they should have released this as a December movie and it would have preformed better. Crappy movies like Force Awakens seems to benefit from an Xmas holiday release. I think James Cameron is going to try to top the visuals from this for Avatar 2. If that ever gets made.

I don't plan on seeing either. I thought I had Indiana Jones #1 scanned. I think Byrne worked on that.

Nice. I need to see it before it leaves theaters. Been a little hectic for me lately but I would have gone already. I've been avoiding spoilers. I like going to movies when it's fully empty! Smiley

You'd better act fast. I showed up at a mall at about 5PM. The only showing they had was at 6:30PM. I went to the food court & then looked at the comics.
I passed on all thre comics. The only Valiant TPB I saw was Faith. They had a few single issues. I saw a copy of Eternal Warrior and maybe something else. The only thing even slightly tempting was a Fried Pie variant of Power Puff Girls. It was another #1. There was another Rick & Morty #1... a spin-off series. I grabbed a hacker magazine 2600. I then sat through the pre-show ads and the trailers. I saw a preview of a live action Tick show. I think it's a TV show. Can't remember. But anyway, I think Valerian will be out of the theaters very soon.

The Indy tv show is a slow watch, I haven't really seen those fully. Not sure how if they age well. No Jaws? The best character in that movie is "Quint" played by Robert Shaw.

I was never interested in the comic and the movies only moderately interested me. The Young Indiana Jones TV show is pretty much forgotten. I was never a Spielberg fan. New saw Jaws.. ever. Just short clips.

I would like to read some of the early Barks/Scrooge stuff one day. I don't know why comic companies don't take advantage of making Indiana Jones comics anymore. Dark Horse had it for decades and barely did much with it in the 2000s. A comic company like IDW could easily adapt the novel books into comic series. I think there is still an unpublished Indiana Jones issue #35 by Steve Ditko buried somewhere. One of the last issues that never released since it was cancelled by Marvel in the 80s. I think this was around the time Shooter left Marvel and whoever was left in charge didn't continue on with the movie based comic lines.
