I'm caught up on Silicon Valley. This was my favorite episode yet. They could have done more with Dinesh's girlfriend. I've already forgotten all the different things I liked because it was knocking things out at a steady pace this week.

Flash seems like the more fun of the 4 DC Shows to watch. But I've never had the chance to watch all of em. Arrow I tried from the beginning then got distracted. I actually put my netflix subscription on pause since I barely even watch it I would spend more time adding shows to my menu queue than actually watching anything. I can't remember when I saw something fully on there. Or the marvel stuff.

I don't think any are great.
If a new character appears and you don't know why they are there, they will probably end up being a villain.
If a side character seems to be showing up too much, they will probably die.
If a character dies, they will probably reappear repeatedly.
Any major emotional conflict could have been avoided completely if the character had not opted to keep it a secret.

On FX, Legion had some really cool scene along the lines of the Philadelphia Experiment movie.

I will probably go see it, but I'm not real excited about seeing a Star Wars clone.

I missed the last episode. I forgot about it last night. I watched the episode of Flash again from last week to see if HR could have taken Iris' place and been killed instead of her with his body image changing technology.

Is there any info on what Shooter might be doing for Image?

Goldfoyle was right about Dinesh's girlfriend. These new episodes seem to play out pretty quick to me.

I trust Jim to make those projects interesting, but the summaries they talked about didn't interest me. A robot, vampire, and a mermaid? Ughhh!

Where would Einstein get the motivation to make a robot? It takes very specific mechanical and electrical knowledge. Granted he got most of his insights as a patent clerk, I just don't see that as a natural and logical segue into building a robot. He was more into the theoretical and mathematical concepts. Tesla was the inventor.

I would like to have seen Shooter's take on mermaids. {Cool}

Sounds like he was cranking out alot of ideas for Icon. Frustrating to see these hidden projects never coming to light.

Icon looks like it came right after Daring/Unity 2000 and before his hidden Phobos stuff.

In a way, he really hasn't stopped working in comics. It just never gets printed. *grrr* {Embarassed}

Hmmm. I may have been focused mostly on DEFIANT stuff back then. I didn't read your lengthy post you made a few posts above this one. I'm on my phone and don't read lengthy stuff until the weekend on a desktop. Weird, I know.

Not really. Message boards are better suited for desktop computers.

New post!

I was at Books-A-Million looking at their comics. Saw a bunch of "Fried Pie Variants". I grabbed one just to find out more about it and the characters in this comic.

It was all going on around then. If you remember more than four people posting, that was right in the middle of it.

What's an Ultraverse board?

Did you somehow miss the early years of my board when one of Greg's board members came to my old messageboard and decided he'd lie to everyone at Greg's board? He told everyone at Greg's board that me and him were best buddies and that they should join my messageboard despite me asking him not to do that in emails. Greg's members joined under completely false pretenses and then flooded my general comics section with threads about Malibu's Ultraverse. Understanding that Greg's members were duped by the jerk, I created a category to discuss Ultraverse. I created the category to separate it from the rest of the discussions so I could choose not to see them if I so wished. I detest Ultraverse and I never hid the fact. I created a checklist because I was interested from a historical and archival perspective. I was not interested in any of it from a creative perspective except for Rune & an issue of Sludge drawn by Mike Ploog. Regardless, I watched as Ultraverse discussion blossomed and no one was posting in the DEFIANT & Broadway sections. I kept my patience. Eventually, the same lying jerk was sucking up to Tom Mason by email and thought he was going to convince me into creating an Ultraverse board project. Some signed comic like Greg's board is known for doing. I told him that it wasn't happening, but he ignored me. So right when everything was supposed to fall into place and he was going to get Tom Mason on board for this project, I shut down the Ultraverse section entirely. He should have gotten a clue, because it was the only category that was having threads older than a certain date purged and deleted. I used to have a lot of members, but deleting the category caused about 90% of my members to leave. I never pretended to be someone I'm not. It was Greg's board member that lied to everyone. I'm proud to say I exposed his lies to Tom Mason and utterly humiliated him in the process. I was glad when he stormed out with his temper tantrum. Brother J was the only open-minded person that took everything at face value. I have a lot of respect for his ability to see through the smokescreen that was put in front of him. Gowaltrip came around later, but he saw the scene before and he saw the aftermath.

There was stuff going on in the background to discredit my site and make me out to be irrational. I was quite rational through it all. I refused to roll over and play dead. Ryan who wrote the article above had created a Forgotten Universes website that featured Ultraverse, Broadway, DEFIANT, and New Universe. Ironically, it was all the dead universes helmed by either Rosenberg or Shooter at the time they were collaborating away from the public eye. Hmmmm! The template for the site was modeled after Greg's site with the same formatting & color scheme. My site was updated regularly and scored some cool content while Ryan's site just sat there with incorrect static info and wasn't updated. I haven't read the interview, but there's been a lot that I knew about and never talked about.

Yes. I missed that. If memory serves, I first joined your board in 2004.

Good one. I'll read it when I get home. Worked late.
We all know I'm to blame because I wouldn't let this board become and Ultraverse board.

LOL!
