There was a discovery of a DNS issue that mainly affects new accounts (but also anyone changing/adding domains in their account).

This issue basically leads to the domains never being made public and are therefor not able to resolve to the correct IP (think of DNS as a huge phonebook, where domain is the listed name and the IP is the phone number, if this fails the number is never known to the one searching, be it a browser or ftp client, so they can not connect to it).

We are working on getting this resolved as quick as possible alongside with restores of servers x12 and x14.

Due to this DNS issue we have also halted new account creations for the time being.

"There's really not much new in regards to the progress, but I did get a bit information about the cause of it all.

Due to a bug in the cloud software we use we suffered a failure to our underlying storage system. This caused data corruption on the partition containing the user accounts on some of the servers (x11 and x15 got away unharmed).

The restore process is tedious, there's a lot of data involved, but we do have full backups. "

This page isn't officially part the site in that nothing directly links to it. It was part of the old site, so I do intend on making it relevant in the future. Either way, I updated it.

The surfing through this site is faster than the other host. Relief!

The old one was just constant blank pages and slow loading for me.

The Plasm audio is not working for me either. I'm watching the Inside the Tower vids again. Jim Shooter should grow that pony tail back again. #sb#

The intro makes me want to re-read Dark Dominion again. Ray Liotta would make for a good Chasm in a Dark Dominion movie.

Cool...you added sections for the "Inside the Tower" vids....been awhile since I seen those. I still have the dvd somewhere hiding in a box I need to locate.

I've been wanting to hear the audio Plasm cassette tape again too.

btw, I found Charlemange #1 & Prudence #1 with the Defiant coa's as well...those exist.....i'll post pics when I get a chance. Wondering if more exist for WarDancer and GoodGuys 1s...



Fatale 16 page X-Mas Special! What could have been! I didn't know that Dark Dominion crossover was going to be treated as an xmas special event.

Re: Birth Of Defiant Universe scans....how did you scan the interiors of that? I thought that would be hard to lay flat on a scanner with how the book opens. I kind of don't open mine all the way because of the vellum cover.

7/14/2016 - Added some scans of DEFIANT Card products (oversized card sheets, etc.). Upgraded some images for some DEFIANT related collectibles.

5/3/2016 - Added information for a "Collector Value Pack" which included Good Guys #1, Dark Dominion #3, and Warriors of Plasm #5. The pages for the individual issues has been update.

5/1/2016 - Revived the page for Solicited product as well as Cancelled products.

4/28/2016 - Updated some issues to indicate that signed versions exist and added scans of the Certificate of Authenticity. Those include Dark Dominion #1, Dogs of War #1, Dogs of War #2, DEFIANT Genesis (without comicfest banner) #1, Origin of the DEFIANT Universe #1, and Good Guys #1. These will not be listed on the Index page because certificates and signatures can be easily forged. Corrected some typo's on the One Shots Cover Gallery.

2/23/2016 - Updated the DEFIANT Comics checklist with links to images and galleries. The site has been plagued by upper/lower case discrepancies on the file names which have made some links invalid. The site has cleaned up some hyperlinks for the Warriors of Plasm title today.

1/25/2016 - Minor formatting corrections done on various pages.

1/24/2016 - The Charlemagne Cover Gallery has been updated. The War Dancer Cover Gallery has been updated. The Dark Dominion Cover Gallery has been updated.
1/23/2016 - The Dogs of War Cover Gallery has been updated.

1/17/2016 - Corrected links and made minor updates to the DEFIANT Cards page.

1/16/2016 - Updated the Warriors of Plasm Gallery Page. Corrected links and made minor updates to the DEFIANT Cards page.

1/14/2016 - The DEFIANT Editorials are now back online. Partially update the DEFIANT Cards page. Added a section of additional links on the main page. One link added was the DEFIANT A/V page. Some pages have been revived in the background, but they may have some broken image links.

1/10/2016 - The Reading Room is updated and all the links appear to be working. If you click on links to other pages from there, the links may go dead. Updates are still occurring in the background. The Good Guys Cover Gallery has been updated.
